Human Services as an Art

The creativity, imagination and innovation required to serve the needs, choices, and expectations of the disabled and disenfranchised is no less than artistry, and providers of services...Artists.

We design with detail, accuracy, and attention to the character and consciousness of the individual. As an organization and as individuals, we work toward one goal...MASTERY. We seek to master the art of human services...to live true to our mission and help those in need, help themselves. We seek to master the art of care and compassion by doing the ordinary, extraordinarily well. We seek to master the art of listening by being fully present to those who give voice to their experience. We seek to master the art of faith by believing in our mission and the positive potential of every single person that walks through our doors. We seek to master the art of service delivery by making effective and efficient use of time and resources. We strive to achieve personal mastery. We allow ourselves to learn and develop as professionals with a commitment to ourselves and those we serve. We are indeed our brother's keepers and they ours.

Founded in 1994, IPMH is a not-for-profit organization serving adults and children. IPMH is known for taking the time and care to work with persons with multiple barriers to self-sufficiency. Our holistic approach to service delivery is both innovative and cost-effective. We regard people as individuals, recognizing that each person has a unique set of challenges and goals which must be balanced in order to be successful in any endeavor. Our agency provides the tools, training, proving grounded to maximize success in the workplace and life.
